Volunteers' Art Selected for RBSA Friends Exhibition 2025

The Art Yard is thrilled and excited to announce that 4 volunteers at the gallery have had their artwork selected for display at the January 2025 Friends Exhibition that will take place at the RBSA Gallery, Birmingham.


The regular volunteers are:-

Becky McCartney - "The Quiet Valleys" (acrylic)

Stan Tucker - "The House on the River" at Sonning (pencil), and

Gerry Stokes - 2 drawings of "Gillian" (in graphite and in colour).


Also, our regular Halesowen College student:

Jack Mascarello [18 yrs] - "Monza" in acrylics


Congratulations to all but particularly to Jack who will be one the youngest artists ever to have had their work selected for exhibition at the RBSA.

Midland Film and Art

 

Midland Film and Art is a membership club where people can enjoy screenings of films or view artwork and crafts that would otherwise not be shown in mainstream cinemas or exhibitions, or be available locally. These shows usually have an educational aim, introducing new audiences to different audiovisual works through screening and display, encouraging participation in arts and crafts. A common feature that may characterize a Midland Film and Art meeting is that they either begin with an introduction to the audience and/or end with the promotion of a discussion about the film/art, where assistants, organizers and sometimes the filmmakers/artists themselves, exchange their views.
