REBELLION FEST 2022

TAY resident artist and MFAA member, Jennie Russell-Smith is helping to organise this year's 'R' Fest on Blackpool's famous Promenade.

Rebellion Festivals 2022 aims to be a massive extravaganza of music taking place over 4 days at the start of August and beginning on August 4th.

Some 28 headliner performances will be delivered by bands, including some well known household names.

Jennie says, "Rebellion is specifically targeted to be different from your normal pop festival and takes place on the main promenade during the peak holiday period and giving maximum expose for participants to show their music. You only have to look at the festival poster to recognise the excellence of there performers involved."

Midland Film and Art

 

Midland Film and Art is a membership club where people can enjoy screenings of films or view artwork and crafts that would otherwise not be shown in mainstream cinemas or exhibitions, or be available locally. These shows usually have an educational aim, introducing new audiences to different audiovisual works through screening and display, encouraging participation in arts and crafts. A common feature that may characterize a Midland Film and Art meeting is that they either begin with an introduction to the audience and/or end with the promotion of a discussion about the film/art, where assistants, organizers and sometimes the filmmakers/artists themselves, exchange their views.
