Art In The Park (7th August 2022)

Join with The Art Yard team for a family friendly day of creating art in the park.


Stevens Park and Peace Gardens Will host the event on Sunday, 7th August 2022, between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm.


The Art Yard team will have 10 artists supported by the 'Friends of The Park' group and Dudley Community Services. Karen and Della will be on site handing out sketchbook materials and encouraging children tosite create artwork reflecting the site attractions.


There's plenty of on-site car parking, a cafe' and toilet facilities.


Bring along your own art materials, food and drinks.


Stevens Park & Peace Gardens is on the A4036, Thorns Road, Quarry Bank, DY5 2JU

Midland Film and Art

 

Midland Film and Art is a membership club where people can enjoy screenings of films or view artwork and crafts that would otherwise not be shown in mainstream cinemas or exhibitions, or be available locally. These shows usually have an educational aim, introducing new audiences to different audiovisual works through screening and display, encouraging participation in arts and crafts. A common feature that may characterize a Midland Film and Art meeting is that they either begin with an introduction to the audience and/or end with the promotion of a discussion about the film/art, where assistants, organizers and sometimes the filmmakers/artists themselves, exchange their views.
